Who we are

African & Caribbean Cancer Support Organisation (ACCS) was founded by Dr. (Mrs.) Chinyere Sam-Okerenta alongside founding team members - Ijeoma, Yejide, Yvonne, and Ileola.

Our journeys, both personal and professional, revealed deep gaps in the cancer support available to the African and Caribbean community. Together, we will ensure no one from our culture walks through cancer feeling unseen, their cultural heritage, faith or belief unacknowledged or alone.

With lived experience and cultural understanding at the heart of everything we do, ACCS offers care that is holistic, accessible, and rooted in who we are.
